Storage Management server format

Hi all,

 

We have HP Proliant DL380 G5 server as EVA management server having Windows Unified Storage server 2003 OS and now we are planning to format and install Windows server 2003 OS.

 

Kindly let us know what are the dependancies, impact like CV EVA license we need to take care while performing the same

You should read the command view release notes. Consider to install CV version 10.

Make sure to install an english version of windows!

Get CV from software.hp.com

Take backup of CV EVA license.

 

Once you are done with installing the OS, install supported CV EVA version as per the latest compatibility reference guide available on www.hp.com

 

Then import the CV EVA license after the installation of CV EVA.

Always good to have a backup, but the EVA itself will keep the licence.
