RAID 5 on HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8

I have three new HP servers ProLiant DL380p Gen8, when set the RAID 5 with 6 disk of 1 TB (4,55 TB of available space) the configuration finished successfully. after I installed VMWare ESXi 4.1.0, I go to the storage configuration and only recognizes available 561,41 GB of 4,55 TB.

regards!

You cant have larger than a 2TB datastore on ESX3/4 (VMFS3) without adding multiple LUNs to extents.

ESX5 overcame this limitation...
