HP NC380T PCIe Adapter iSCSI support
Hello,
Firstly, I'm sorry if I've created this post in the wrong category. I did't find any category about HP networking adapters on the forum.
A few days ago, I bought two dualport HP NC380T multifuncional adapters. They have the Broadcom BCM5706C chips (NetXtreme II). According to the official HP and Broadcom documentation, the cards should have iSCSI boot support. Selecting of a booting protocol should be done in the MBA (Master-boot agent) boot protocol menu. The problem is that there is only PXE boot protocol support. Is it possible to add the iSCSI support into the cards? I've got another card with the same Broadcom chip from another vendor and there is no problem with the iSCSI boot support.
P.S. This thread has been moved from Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Small and Medium Business) to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL). - Hp Forum Moderator

NICs are typically put in a board where the server or PC is discussed.
Which do you have?

I've got a HP Proliant DL385 G5 and these two dualport C-NIC's NC380T PCIe. I think that it doesn't matter which server I have, don't you?
