Non ssl connection

Is it possible to connect to iLO via an eDirectory account using a non ssl Ldap connection on port 389?

No, you must login via an encrypted connection. Some of the setup utilities allow you to access the directory on port 389 but only to extend the schema and add objects to the directory.
