Is it possible for ILO2 connect to AD/LDAP using non SSL 389?
our DC and ilo connections are in the same vlan...
using ilo2 ver 1.78 (with adv lic) and 2003 active directory.
we changed the connection port to 389 from the 636 for SSL and we're still getting the same SSL connection error. (saved and reset ilo also).
"Unable to establish SSL connection with directory server.
You may need to install a certificate for your server to allow SSL connections."
and testing with any AD user or admin account fails with an error of 'directory server connection failed' or bind to directory server failed when testing within the ilo2 interface.
I've seen a couple of threads stating that port 636 SSL to the domain controller is a must and can't be changed?
I can't find any documentation at HP that says otherwise. tried using the HP iLo directories migration utility besides manually configuring but still no differece. the same error...
