The Web interface to ILO displays the server serial number. Is it possible to get this same information using the XML interface to ILO?

Solution
You can retrieve the serial number using the get_host_data.xml example script available in the XML sample package here:

In the response, you will see a "type 1" record with the serial number that appears something like this:
Also, HP Systems Information Manager can retrieve this information. It is a powerful management console if you are unfamiliar.
