p4300 to vsa

currently have a p4300 cluster but would like to move to a vsa. can a vsa setup just join p4300 managemrnt groups? VSA setup will have less disk than the p4300 so prob best not to join cluster and just indiviually move LUNS? what goes on behind the scense when moving LUNS to another cluster. IS the data available while this is happening?

Hi,

Yes you can have the P4300 and VSA's in the same management group but it is best to have them in separate clusters inside that management group. Then with Peer Motion it is possible to migrate volumes from the P4300 to the VSA's...
