The IMC installation guide lists the required Java Heap Size for IMC, but I cannot find any guide on how to set it.
Any usefull info or tips would be greatly appreciated.

SolutionYou can manually edit the startup parameters, or you can use the "setmem.bat" script to do this for you.
Go to <IMC>\client\bin.
Run "setmem.bat 4096" to set the heap size to 4G. Run setmem.bat with no arguments to see usage info.
On Linux you can use setmem.sh, in the same directory.

Re: Setting Java Heap Size for HP IMC
Perfect, thank you!
This was not mentioned in the Training Course nor in the Training Manuals. I will mention this in the feedback to HP Training.
Thanks again!

Re: Setting Java Heap Size for HP IMC
I can't remember exactly where I picked it up, but it's in the Getting Started guide, in the FAQ section. Should probably be in the Admin or Install guide too.
