700/94 or 700/98 Terminal Emulation software for Linux

Any ideas? I have a need to emulate a 700/94 or 700/98 terminal from my linux desktop. Any suggestions are appreciated, and good suggestions get 10 points. :-)

Hi Ted,

Here's one:

1) PowerTerm InterConnect - by ERICOM SW

This is going to be tough to locate. The Ericom site mentions HP once, but HP mode does not show up in their screen shots of emulation choices. The definitive HP Terminal emulator comes from WRQ but they do not provide Reflection for HP (the 700-series emulator) for Linux. WRQ does have a web version that may be the best solution for Linux.

Re: 700/94 or 700/98 Terminal Emulation software for Linux

I got a call from the Ericom people, and apparently their new Linux offering does indeed offer Block Mode as well as Pass-Thru Printing. It's a full featured 700/9x emulator. They were super-helpful, and the technical contact is/was a 15 year HP Employee :-)

I'm getting an evaluation copy from them - and I'll post the results of my testing here.
