Re: configure a free radius server

1- Can not help

2- Some general links on how to use Linux as a PPP/ISP

http://www.mylinuxisp.com/index.php?link=4&subSec=26

http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/ISP-Setup-RedHat-HOWTO.html

From these two docs you should be able to gather enough information to set your machine up to take dial up, at maybe even do dialback security to keep unauthorized users off your ORacle Database.

I've done it and broken it down. Linux would probably be more secure, but for eas of use, I broke down my Linux box that does this and use a Windows 2000 Box. With them its a gui. Sorry, I know true Linux heads are offended.

Re: configure a free radius server

We have freeradius running on Linux 9..

I found fairly straight forward instructions on the website.. we did have to watch the /var/log/message file to see if authentication was working.. We are using it for central wireless authentication.. I will see if I can dig up my notes..

We are using a flat file.. For Oracle or MySQL I remember seeing some of the configuration stuff in the compile information on the FAQ's ..
