Cut&Paste HTML from Thunderbird into HTML editor?

Hi folks,

I'm using RedHat AS4 on IA64.

I want to cut&paste HTML-formatted text from Thunderbird 1.5.0.8 into an HTML editor.

In the summer I was still using Mozilla. It was no problem doing this from Mozilla email to Mozilla composer.

Does anyone know if this is possible from Thunderbird (or Firefox for that matter) to an HTML editor such that all HTML formatting (font styles, sizes, underlining etc.) is preserved?

Points will be assigned for all helpful replies!

I have some kind of feeling that the X server cut&paste only supports unformatted cut&paste. If this is true then it is interesting that it worked before from one part of Mozilla to another (running on HP-UX at that time).

Thanks, Christian

Hello!

I use for html editor Quanta (http://quanta.kdewebdev.org/)

and another, some function seems like Dreamweaver Screem (http://www.screem.org/)

and for copy/paste they work correctly, but i don't know for Mozilla - Thunderbird
