Debian Linux Questions.. please help!

Hi All,
For the first time on our OVOU 7 Server, we are going to attempt to manage a Linux Client, Debian to be exact. Now I know various versions are supported from looking through previous forum entries, but how do I obtain the client. I cannot see it on any of the CD's provided by HP, just Unix and NT Clients. Is there a site from which this client can be downloaded, or can it only be obtained by HP? If the latter is true, does anyone have the name / number of the CD it resides on?

If you want Debian GNU/Linux to be installed in another machine (labelled client) head over to http://www.debian.org/ and follow the link to download Debian ISOs via jigdo. Debian can act more than a client, it is much powerful and there are about 3000-odd application packages supported. It is a complete server OS, the ultimate NOS.

Please do ask here for your doubts on your installation of the Debian GNU system, as and when they happen. Enjoy ...

i think the question is to install an OVO agent on the linux machine.

the most easy way it to do this with a manual install and not through the automatic installation. you can read how to do this in the manual of OVO.
