/dev/sdb1 is not on the first disk

Hi

Each time I try to boot Linux from the hard disk (RAID 5 config) I keep getting a Boot Failure message and when booting from Linxboot disk and typing in LILO at root I get the above warning message.
I have Windows NT Server installed also and so during RH Linux 7.1 installation I installed LILO boot record on the First Boot sector of boot partition.
How can I resolve this problem?

Thanks
Pierre

Re: /dev/sdb1 is not on the first disk

/dev/sdb1 is the first partion on the second scsii drive.
Usually the root is on the first drive.

Try changing the root to /dev/sda1.
