hi
does anyone have stability problems or bad experience using cisco vpn under linux ?
I've installed cisco vpn client vpnclient-linux-4.0.4.B-k9 on linux SUSE 9.1 server, but the system crashed total one or two times.
to press power-off button was only solution.
greetings
chris

Re: does anyone have stability problems using cisco vpn under linux ?
Had loads of problems - still trying to wade through to see if I can work out what is going on. I found several different vpn client versions which were supposedly working under a 2.6 kernel, but I haven't been able to get them to work properly at all yet (thats against 2.6.5-7.95).
I've had to resort to using 9.0 (2.4.21-215) at the moment for my VPN connection.
If I come up with anything, I'll post it on the forum.
Col

you might take a look at free s/wan http://www.freeswan.org
they are known to connect to (among others) Cisco VPN.

There have been Innumerable people who have helped me. Of course, I've managed to piss most of them off.
