External HP-UX DLT-8000 for backup

Hello UNIX Friends.........
I have installed an External C6378A "Hewlett Packard SureStore DLT8000 DLT Tape Drive)for SAP & Unix Backup, the system recognize it, but Ready light indicator is always on Ambar Color, Never in Green, How can I put it Ready, because I get below Message:
[90:180] Can not rewind medium. ([13] Permission denied)
Initialization of medium failed.
