I need tips on how to lockdown/harden Itanium/PA-RISC servers running HP-UX 11.23 (Oracle RAC). I want to log all logins and commands entered by all the users logged in.
I need to make a presentation to the business managers.
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionThis is possible if you convertyour server to a trusted system. Go to http://docs.hp.com and search for "trusted system". Many docs will come up.

Re: Hardening of HP-UX System
Fastest way is:
http://software.hp.com
Search for Bastille.
Also download the Perl5 depot there. Install both.
Bastille is an interactive, survey based hardening tool. Most bang for your buck and limited time.
