I tried to install another pgm after installing SP3 and the system responded that SP3 was not installed. I need to know how to find out if I really am at SP3 or..if the new install program is not detecting SP3 properly.
Thanks.

SolutionYou should check kernel version, perform command "uname -r", SP3's kernel version should be 2.4.21-138-smp. If kernel version exactly, you should compare rpm version between os was installed and sp3 cd.

Re: How Can I Determine What Level/SP Of Sles I am running?
Check /etc/SuSE-release (text file).
Good luck.

Re: How Can I Determine What Level/SP Of Sles I am running?
You must keep one thing in mind: Installing SLES8SP3 by booting from th SP3-CD is only the first step. After installation has finished, you must mount the SP3-CD again and install SP3 over the fresh system.
