How can I set the Multicast heartbeating in RedHat Cluster Suit 3

two member can't communicate (one Active , another Inactive ) in Cluster Manager after I added two member into cluster,
and then I change heartbeat setting to Broadcast Heartbeat , restart cluster service , two member can communicate in cluter Manager(both Active).

I want to know why two member can't communicate eachother when I set heartbeat to multicast ???

What is your multicast ip address set to? One thing you can try is to raise the log level to get more detailed info. In the clumembd tab in the manager, change log level to DEBUG and see if that helps.

I uses IP 225.0.0.11 for Multicast Hearbeat.
You can have a try.
