how to create mpath1 file without server reboot?
Hellow forum,
Which command on linux is used to create the /dev/mapper/mpath1 file?
I have connected the linux server (RH el5.4) to the eva with 2 fiber, and installed the HP device mapper.
However I have notice that only after reboot the /dev/mapper/mpath1 file is created. ( I repeated the test several times and the multipath is working fine)
Is there a way to create the mpath1 file without rebooting the server?
Thank you.
