HP MSL TAPE DRIVE NOT DETECTING IN REHL4
One Tape drive and NSR was faulty and replaced. WWN no of linux and OVMS hosr are configured in NSR also alias for NSR is configured in SAN Swich. We have made reboot of linux host but replced drive is not detecting. Other working drive has no issue.
In OVMS host both drives are working fine.
Qlogic HBA utility run on Linux host but do not shoe replaced Tape drive. How to configure in Linux host or detect. Any file modification required. Please provide solution. Attched utility output.

Is there not a reset on the NSR itself?
Man -- in the old days NSRs are separate devices.

Same issue of non detection of one drive was also on Open VMS 8.3 systems. on restarted also problem did not resolved. we have to find new wwid of NSR by command mc sysman> find wwid which has modifided sys$sysdevice.dat file addding new enrty of NSR. I suspect some issue detctin on LInux REHL host. Any command to detect on REHL4 or hardware specific issue.
