hpux 11.23 and StorageWorks 4314R Enclosure.
Hi,
I have an old Compaq 4314R scsi 3 disk shelf which I'm thinking of using to add some storage to a test system. I am aware that the hardware is no longer suppported by HP but I'm wondering is there any reason why it wouldn't work on an rx2600 runnning HPUX 11.23.
The rx2600 already has a DS2300 disk shelf so the plan would be to daisychain to that.(I think, its been a while!)
Thanks in advance.

Re: hpux 11.23 and StorageWorks 4314R Enclosure.
The DS2300 has 14 slots and 2 controllers, each having a SCSI ID (depends on configuration).
How many SCSI IDs are available on a SCSI bus???
Forget daisy chaining!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
