hpux and hp2035n
I've hooked it up to an hpux 11.11 box and it prints through lpd except it has an annoying problem. All output through lpd always ends up on the manual feed. Users have to go push the "ok, i really want to print through manual feed" button.
We've turned manual feed off through the web interface's pcl section but the problem persists.
Ideally I'd like the output to go to tray one or tray two.
Ideas?

Re: hpux and hp2035n
Which model script did you use ?
Some printers are quite picky about their driver script.
You can down load the model scripts from for hppi to use from here

Re: hpux and hp2035n
The printer is using the correct model script (net_ljP2035) but is just geeking our on the manual feed thing.

Re: hpux and hp2035n
You mean lp? There is no lpd on HP-UX as it is a SysV spooler, not BSD.
To control the output tray (and a whole bunch of other things), check the printer script man page for the options. Try:
lp -dmyprinter -obin1
To make this the default, you'll need to edit the printer script in /etc/lp/interface/model.orig
