Re: Maximum Lan Connections

What do you mean by "lan connections"?

Number of NICs/ number of telnet sessions/ ... ?

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Maximum Lan Connections

You can put every supported NIC in every supported slot (may depend on the particular NIC) in your rx3600.
You have a choice of 8 public slots in this machine.

For blades the number is limited to the installable count of mezzanine cards - normally you have up to 2 dual port NICs integrated on the system board.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Maximum Lan Connections

Ok thanks but normally it is only 6 nic cards including for MP? Right?

But in BL465 only 2 nic cards? Where is for console?

Thanks for the reply.

Re: Maximum Lan Connections

The rx3600 has 8 slots + 2 core I/O slots.

The BL465c is a Proliant blade, for more info see

...
2 internal NICs + optional mezzanine cards ...

Hope this helps!

Re: Maximum Lan Connections

Probably best to leave one of the "core" I/O slots available to a mass storage interface of some sort unless/until boot over iSCSI happens to be supported.
