NC7780 basp driver problem

We have a DL360 G2 box running a red hat 7.2 with 2 NC7780 nics.
We installed the bcm5700 advanced server program for linux (basp). The 802.1q work fine, but when trying a dmesg under linux we have this message : no license, the driver will taint the kernel.

Does anyone have an idea of the meaning of this message??

Re: NC7780 basp driver problem

If you follow this link : http://www.uwsg.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0110.2/0369.html
it explains what the error means and if you want to clear the error you will have to download the updated version of the basp which doesn't give the error in my test environment. You can get the latest version of this from : http://www.compaq.com/support/files/server/us/download/13668.html
