I'm running B.11.31 0709
I want to run Integrity VM 4.0 but it requires Sept 2008 release.
Is these a way to upgrade to this (patches, firmware)?
thanks
Fran

Re: Possible to upgrade my OS media release?
Yes you can update to 0809 using update-ux
You'll need a set of media for the 0809 release then follow the instructions in the manual:
http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-4165/ch06.html
Note installing patches is *not* sufficient as it doesn't upgrade product versions.

SolutionIf you install a bi-annual patch set, you will meet the requirement. This is the binary equivalent of a cold install.

That is what you want. You don't need update-ux

Re: Possible to upgrade my OS media release?
Do you ever re-visit such threads?
You will see me posting similar replies and a link to my example:

Hope this helps!
