Found out when a did a reboot and saw it was booting up of the Alternate boot disk.
Also checked EMS poutpur to confirm the disk was bad and it was.
Disk in question isa HP 36.4GB MAM3367MC
My question is:-
Is this hot-swappable? and if it is will it sutomatically sync up with the alternate boot disk or do I have to go through the process of creating the mirrors back on the primary ?
Solved! Go to Solution.

You will have to create the mirror yourself. The steps are listed in this document.

Re: Primary disk replacement failure
You have to put new samconfiguration disk it will automatically sync.
Otherwise you have to create fresh mirror.
