ProLiant ML110 G2 and Suse9.1
Hi,
does anybody know where to find a SATA driver / module for the ProLiant ML110 G2 to use under Suse Linux 9.1 ?

If Suse does not support SATA off the boot cd's then you have a few paltry choices:
1) You can get a disk preparation cd from HP, boot off that and prepare the disks. This will include drivers for SATA and Suse if such drivers exist.
2) Punt and find a distribution that supports the hardware at boot.
SATA is pretty new and support isn't complete right now.

Suse 9.1 uses a 2.6 kernel and should support all current commonly used SATA controllers.

Hi Harald,
HP does not oficialy support SuSe 9.1 on ML 110, it only supports SuSe Enterprise.
Here you can find all drivers for suse enterprise, if everything fails I guess you may try use those drivers with your suse 9.1.

But, if you can, by a copy of SLES 9 to be fully compatible.
