rpcbind: non-local attempt to set from

"rpcbind: non-local attempt to set from 127.0.0.1"

I have this error repeating itself very frequently in my syslog.log - but I can't seem to find any reference to it anywhere. It doesn't appear to be affecting system performance at all, but I would like to know what it means. Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: rpcbind: non-local attempt to set from

It's informational message from rpcbind. It says access to rpcbind interface access is set from the loopback address 127.0.0.1. This is for security reason. With setting to loopback address, rpcbind service check to see whether a rpc message/call came from lookback transport.
