Hi All,
Is there a way to restrict the samba access by machine level?
i cannot access the samba share from one machine where i can access from other machine.

Re: samba issue
Samba is primarily based on client authentication. Are you using the same client user ID for both accesses? Is the CIFS client running on the machine that's not working? Are there any firewalls configured between the client and the Samba server?

Re: samba issue
Hi,
Please check the samba config file (/etc/samba/smb.conf) for hosts allow and hosts deny.
