send mail from hpux server to my local address

How can i send mail from an hpux server 11.11to gmail id  which is connect to inetrnet.

Do you have your sendmail pointing to a mail relay for your company?

Assuming sendmail is properly configured (as Dennis mentions), it's as simple as

echo "Hello World" |mail userid@gmail.com
