Maybe I'm not looking in the right place...

sendmail... 8.14.1

How/what's the best way to find the fileset NAME for the HP-UX versions 11.0-11.23 sendmail fileset? For instance, I believe the fileset name for 8.13 is/was B.11.11.02.005 for 11.11/11i-v1.

HP-UX provides free sendmail update depots via http://software.hp.com

They do not provide one for each sendmail release but will provide binary updates as security alerts are received.

swlist -l product -l fileset | grep -i sendmail

You may need to play a bit but you can find this with swlist.

As you are pointing out 8.13.3 is the lastest HP-UX release of sendmail.

As far as I know, the latest version of HP-packaged Sendmail is 8.13.3, still available here:

It is available for HP-UX 11.11, 11.23 and 11.31. The page above lists the bundle version numbers for each HP-UX version.

A search for "sendmail" on software.hp.com showed me that an older version, 8.11.1 for HP-UX 11.00, is still downloadable. According to the info page (linked below), its fileset version is B.11.00.01.010.

Please note that Sendmail 8.13.3 was released in April of this year, so 8.14.1 would have to be still newer than that.

As HP's previous release of Sendmail was 8.11.1 in 2006, I would find it very surprising if HP suddenly released two versions of Sendmail within the same year.
