Slow Copy Performance in HPUX 11.31

Hi,

We currently encounter the following issue:

We are copying Files from one Filesystem to another Filesystem, both located on the same Storage Device (EVA6400) and within the same Blade. The copy process is extremely slow (10 GB in 45 min).

System Involved: HP Integrity BL870c, Storage Involved: HP EVA6400

Hope someone can shed some light on this.

Thanks,

Otep

Which FibreChannel I/O module(s) are you using in the blade chassis?

If it's a simple Pass-Through module, the I/O traffic of other blades should not be a factor.

But if you're using a FC Virtual Connect module, the total traffic generated by all the blades in the chassis might be more than your current number of links between the storage and the blade chassis can properly handle.
