Hi,
I use HP t410 Smart Zero Client(H2W23AA) .
This is Linux based thin client.
When we connect to the hub that is NetGear GS108,
t410 linked down and up several times a day.
I asked HP support to help,
and the anser was that t410 has nothing to do to solve the problem.
t410 log said like these;
2015-05-14 20:38:23 Up wired done.
2015-05-14 20:38:23 Apply HP Velocity.
2015-05-14 20:38:23 netmgr done.
2015-05-14 21:03:47 Link down: ifplugd action: suspend eth0
2015-05-14 21:03:47 Starting netmgr ...
2015-05-14 21:03:47 Arguments are: --suspend -- 'eth0'
2015-05-14 21:03:47 Remain arguments: eth0
2015-05-14 21:03:47 netmgr action: --suspend, interface: eth0
2015-05-14 21:03:48 Down wired network adaptor.
2015-05-14 21:03:48 Clean wired network settings
I'm wondering that it caused by IEEE 802.3az function that the HUB has.
Because,I use old 10/100M hub without IEEE 802.3az and problems do not happend.
Do I have to user old HUB and never change it?
Anyone has the same situation or solution for this problem by Linux settings.
Thanks
OSAMU

SolutionA better forum for Thin Client PC products is the HP Support Forum:
