terminal emulator equivalent

cu is included in least RH 7.3. Does it not do what you want?

I would assume that cu is in the uucp package. I tried querying the RPM database for cu and it came up blank, but I know it's not a shell built-in, and it belongs to user uucp, so it would be logical to assume it's in that package, even though it doesn't show up in the listing. nothing does, actually, except uucp itself. Hmmm :(

Hi Mark,
I found a package for 7.2 on Red Hat.
uucp-1.0.6 and sent it to my coworker.
I do not know if it has cu on it as I didn't have a convenient means of looking at the rpm package, but if it doesn't, I did also let him know about 7.3.
