zd7000 port replication

i'm interested in running a second monitor and it turns out that the zd7000 series dock doesnt have a vga output (which defeats the purpose of the dock). i guess the assumption is that if you have a 17" monitor you won't need an external.

the easidock setup has a vga, but it takes up a PCMCIA slot which is needed for wireless networking. i'm wondering if there is any solution out there that is compatible with the "expansion port" on the zd7000... (i'm assuming it isn't compatible with other model hps).

since essentially the problem you try to solve is OS agnostic and does not require any specific Linux knowledge.
