Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

Hello @Pgb33,

The SP connectivity test fails at 'NTP test' stage. You can fix the NTP server and re-run the SP connectivity test again.

Or remove the 3PAR from SP and then add it back.

Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

NTP exhibited both manually and indicated the POI dns server. The error is repeated.
3par deleted and added after changing the certificate. Do I need to remove and add 3 par again?

Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

I removed 3 par from the joint venture and added a new one. The error remains.
I changed the IP address of the dns servers and 3pair writes a notification:

Following field(s) have been changed, system needs to be rebooted. Click on 'OK' to continue.

DNS Settings
Note: Firewall will be 'Enabled' after reboot.

Do I need to do this during business hours? Or postpone this action for the night?

Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

Hello @Pgb33,

Update the 'collection server' (Service Console -> General) port number port from 443 to 8443. Make sure the port 8443 is enabled in firewall settings.

Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

Hi!

Can you write in more detail where to change the port?
In Service Console -> General no port settings
I added a second DNS server 8.8.4.4 - the same error

Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

Hi Pgb33

To change the port number from 443 to 8443

You may follow the below steps:

  • login to the Service processor using the below syntax

SP ip address":8443"  OR  https://<sp_ip_address>:8443.

  • From the dashboard, Go to the Actions menu and click on Test SP connectivity

Kindly revert for further queries.

Hope this helps.!!

Regards
Anil

Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

Hi, AniKT!

I successfully enter the service processor using port 8443.
If I run the Test SP connectivity, I get the errors that I indicated at the beginning of the topic
What else do I need to do to fix this error?
Do I need a valid support contract to successfully complete this test?
My contract has ended

Hello @Pgb33.,

Looks like your error screenshots on 'dropmefiles' has expired. Can you please upload those images here?

While you are drafting the response, click on the camera icon -> choose files -> select the images -> open -> let the files upload -> click on 'done'.

Re: 3par & Test SP connectivity

Hello @Pgb33,

The SP status confirms that the connectivity between 3PAR and SP is fine.

Only the call home feature (SP to HPE environment) is not working. That requires an active support contract.

Except that there is no issue with your 3PAR and SP. Nothing much to worry about.

Please consider renewing the HPE support contract for all the software updates and support.
