Does 3par 8200 provide and support Hardware VSS providers

Does 3par 8200 provide and support Hardware VSS providers

Hi

I just want to make sure if the the 3par 8200 support VSS hardware provider , does it need a license?

How to enable it of it is disabled by default?

Hello Owahid,

Yes, 3PAR does support VSS Provider and it comes installed by default. Or you can get it from https://h20392.www2.hpe.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=VSS_Provider.

The license also comes by default. You can confirm the same by running the 'showlicense' command.
