My predecessor had installed the SSMC on his Windows desktop pc.
Unfortunately, his PC has been repurposed/rebuilt/wiped. So it’s looking like I’ll need to reinstall SSMC.
Our 3par is currently behaving nicely in production, but I’d like to install the SSMC to get some visibility into the environment.
So what are my options here? Should I simply reinstall the latest Windows version of SSMC available on my PC, and try to discover the 3par environment?
I’m hoping to avoid impacting our 3par by doing this.
Any advice would be greatly received.
Thanks

SolutionInstalling SSMC have no Impact on the System.
It is only a Management GUI, you can have also multiple of them.
You can Install the old 3.3 Version on any Windows, or better the new 3.6 as Virtual Appliance.
