A question about install hp-ux
when I enter 'esc' start interface ,
system is prompt:
NOTE:
CPU0:
Processor SELF-TEST has been disable because FASTBOOT is ENABLE ,to enable SELF-TEST , disable fastboot with the system.
Menmory has been initialized ,but not tested because FAST-BOOT is enabled ,to test menmorry , disable FAST-BOOT with the system.

What are you seeing when you press "ESC" ????
it must be the main menu, with prompt witing for your commands ..
be sure you press ESC quickly after power on

After the System is booted you can set the FAST-BOOT off as follows:
# setboot -t FASTBOOT=off
# setboot -v
This display's the changed value.

After changing the Value of FASTBOOT you will see the current setting as ON only but the NEXT-BOOT will show it as OFF. So you need to reboot the system and the change will take effect.

I'm afraid the B2600 firmware does not support setboot -t or -v.
You will have to stop the boot at the BCH (boot console handler).
If you cannot interrupt the boot at BCH, in order to go to COnfig menu, chances are that the system is set to "SECURE" mode. In that case you need to physically disconnect the disk. Then you will be set to BCH where you can set SECURE off.
