can some please explain what these error codes mean and what could have caused them.
0/3/1/0: Fibre Channel Driver Read bad NVRAM Header.
Additional Status is 0x01
Status == 0x01: Bad/Incorrect Signature.
Status == 0x02: Incorrect Minimum Version.
Status == 0x03: Incorrect Checksum.
init of hardware not successful. id=10772312 and my_isc=30

Hi Jon,
never seen such messages.
Are you using an unsupported FC card in a hp-ux server by chance?
I'm asking this, because of the fact that the driver is "pushing" the firmware to the card and this looks like something going wrong at this stage.
If the used card is that one from the subject, it could be a bad card too.
But a firmware not current or something else could be the reason. Some more information is needed.
"Incorrect Minimum Version" looks like firmware - would you agree?

Thanks for your help.These cards are off site and I am trying to find out what machine they are putting them in.They worked fine in a compaq machine.So I do think it is a firmware issue,or it is the machine they are putting them into.I am getting the cards back so I will check them when they come back.
