Cannot boot my A400
Hi
I have an A400 which is having difficulty booting.
I have a PC connected to the serial port which is running HP3000 terminal emulation software. I am getting no GSP prompt, even after using the GSP reset button on the back of the server.
The lights on the front of the server are showing:
Run: flashing
Attention: flashing
Fault: off
Remote: off
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Cannot boot my A400
First, did it ever work?
If no:
- what emulation software?
Regardless:
- check the physical RS-232 connector
at the back of the A400 ... I've seen
several where I had to seriously
work to get the cable fully plugged
into the RS-232 socket.
- forgive the obvious...is the emulator in
"local" mode or "auto lf" mode?
