Re: Default MP login for rp3410

Use arp to assign IP address to ILO (MP). See documentation - http://docs.hp.com/en/5991-5984/ch03s05.html?btnNext=next%A0%BB

Re: Default MP login for rp3410

This message "overcurrent 0x0" is a result of querying the hardware during system boot.

This is from USB ports.

Re: Default MP login for rp3410

Regarding the IP address:

The hostname of the MP is mp+mac address (written on a sticker on the chassis, e.g.

mp123456789

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Default MP login for rp3410

Do you have any USB device connected? Try to remove it. Beep means error/fault.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Default MP login for rp3410

This doesn't look good:

0/0/1/0 hcd
0/0/1/0.1 hub
probe: port 3 overcurrent 0x0
0/0/1/1 hcd
0/0/1/1.1 hub
probe: port 2 overcurrent 0x0

This are the USB ports. If nothing is connected, there must be something wrong with the ports (hub) itself.
I would suggest to involve the HP support folks.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
