EFI console
I am trying to get to the EFI console on a new RX2600. I tried connecting a null modem cable to console port A using hyperterm set at 9600 no parity and xon –xoff. I tried using the VGA port and connecting the keybrd and mouse to A7782A adapter. I do not get the EFI console on either connection type.
To use the console cable with 3 connections ups, printer and console. Can I connect a null modem cable to console cable on the 3 connector cable?
I placed the enablement kit for Linux in the cdrom it did not look like the system was hitting the cdrom.
Thanks in advance

Re: EFI console
Hi,
the Serial A port is only in use in the workstation variant that comes without Management Processor (MP).
You have to connect your null modem cable to the console port of the 3 connector cable.

Re: EFI console
Thanks when I installed ours I had to use Console A. The 3 connection cable worked fine.
