End-of-Service for HP 9000/800/N4000-55

Any one please let me know end of support for HP 9000/800/N4000-55

My one Unix box says only 9000/800, which model is this one?

I believe the N4000-55 is also known as the rp7400 product number A3639C. Have a look at this public doc.

I have another question now, in the table for N4000 and rp7400 server, can we upgrade OS to HPUX 11.23? The document says N/A in column (Title: HP-UX 11i v2 September 2004 (B.11.23) PA-RISC & Itanium).

I really got confused with word "N/A" (NO/YES/64 under this column is fine whith me). What is actullay meaning N/A

Yes, the N4000 support 11iv2. See the 11iv2 release notes here:

You will aslo need to check out whether all your IO cards are supported (for example HVD FWD SCSI cards aren't supported with 11iv2):

I assume it means Not Available or Not Applicable.
In the case of N4000, I'm not sure why they had N/A for 11.23 but No for 11.31. The first N/A would be related to the fact that PA won't work on the IPF only OS.

So treat "N/A" as don't even think about looking at this server for this release. :-)

But document at http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-1968/5992-1968.pdf says that N4000 is supported but OS release should be at least Sep 2004 or later. Please refer page 29.
