FLT 3100/FLT3200
I have this message while booting HP 9000.
I am suspecting a CPU board problem.
Can any one there decode this code?
Regards
Oladimeji Suberu

Re: FLT 3100/FLT3200
The exact meaning of the fault code changes with the model; HP 9000 is not enough; however, FLT3XXX indicates a checksum error in the FEPROM (Flash Eraseable Read Only Memeory) and generally requires a system board replacement.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Re: FLT 3100/FLT3200
Hi
FLT 3x00 FEPROM checksum failure
where x is the processor Memory bus
This code also called as Processor Dependent Hardware.
You may need to change back-plane/coreio of the server. Better call HP services, will replace the defective hardware.

Things are very easy, when u know about it...
