frimware updation
I want to upgrade my pdc firmware for the hp9000 k200 class server,which is the easiest procedure for updating firmware and after updating firmware it will not affect my os ?
please help me

I am not sure for K200. But for my rp54xx servers the PDC firmware is available in a OS patch. On installing this the machine will reboot and after reboot it will bootup with new firmware.

Installing new firmware (compatible) in K200 won't affect the existing OS. New firmware will be thoroughly tested and confirm all standards.

This is version 2.9. Please read and follow the instructions. You have to create a tape and from from it to update the firmware (PDC). There won't be an impact to the OS after the upgrade.
