Hardware diagnostics?

Is there a good hardware diagnostics for the N4000 that can be run outside the operating system - such as a bootable diagnostics CD or something that can be run from the monitor?

The IPF 0812 is described as for the "Integrity / Itanium" series, not the PA-Risc.

Booted to the offline diagnostics. when I run "mem2" it asks for a password. Any idea what I'm supposed to type there?

Some tools are protected, you need a HP provided temporary password in order to run them - don't expect to much ... if the server passes the initial selftest it is usually ok.

You can run most offline diagnostic tools without getting a diagnostic password which is available only for support engineers. See ODE user guide for more details by yourself.

But I don't think running the diags will solve your problem ...
