HP 700/60 console problem.
Hi friends,
Need ur help to get into old HP 9000 D class server thr. console.
We are connected to the server thr. console but we cannot see what we r typing on the screen, also pressing the 'm' and 'd' keys key brings it to the next prompt. The server is not on network. How can we set the console to access this server. In terminal config , TermMode is HP.

Re: HP 700/60 console problem.
First reset the console.
Switch power off (terminal, not the server!), press the "d" key and hold while switching on for some seconds. Release the key. The terminal is now on default settings (HP term, US keyboard) and should work.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP 700/60 console problem.
hi,
did you get this terminal working?
If not check that the terminal has remote mode enabled
select modes from boxes across the bottom of screen and select remote mode(put * in box)
then press return and the signal/prompt should be there
