HP rp7410 Servers

I have 2 rp7410 HP Servers as a cluster.
From the console the two servers look to work just fine, but the two attention leds are lit again and again.
How can I find what is going on?
How can I make these two leds to stop?

Thanks in advance

Re: HP rp7410 Servers

Hi there

At the console, press Ctrl-B and type sl followed by enter. You will probably need to select e for error logs. Take a note of what you see. Post the results on this forum thread.

If the system genearte a log, attention LED will blink, i.e you have to look at the log

press ctrl+b on the console
login:
passwd:

enter for both login and passwd
gsp> sl

press 'e'
press 'n' for not filter

Now LED stop blinking

press 'q'
gsp>co

now you are back on to console
never give up

Is this the only way?
Can I use a telnet connection?

Re: HP rp7410 Servers

If you have the LAN console patched to your network, enabled and assigned an IP address, yes. The LAN console port should be on the core I/O board on the reverse of the server.

Either that or plug a console in.
