HP9000 - Deltec UPS Compatibility
I have a legacy Deltec 90S centrallized UPS that was communicating fine with my previous SCO system. Since I've migrated to my HP9000 L2000, I am having trouble getting it to communicate to that UPS via its serial cable. I tried ups_mond; I even loaded a UNIX version of CheckUPS II software, and I'm still having trouble. I uncommented the lines in inittab that sets up ups_mond. I then only uncommented the getty line in inittab that refers to tty0p1, and rand the CheckUPS II installation program. Still no-go. It acts like it cannot see the serial port. What can I do to fix this?
I may not know everything, but I'm working on it...
